rip & wolf — palenville, ny

A once dilapidated gas station turned wine and spirits shop that we had the pleasure of helping bring to life in Palenville, New York.

This local commercial project was a pleasure to work on, and these photos illustrate the transformation—from the existing structure, to our design rendering, to the finished space as it stands today.

We maintained the original footprint while creating a modern shell. A black-painted wood exterior creates a rich contrast between the building and the lush greenery that surrounds it. Inside, polished concrete floors provide durability and a clean, grounded base for the space, while warm wood elements and simple detailing create a rustic aesthetic that reflects the character of the surrounding mountain community. The interior balances function with atmosphere, offering an inviting setting for browsing and gathering.

Projects like this are always especially rewarding. Supporting small, local businesses and helping shape spaces that feel intentional, welcoming, and uniquely their own is at the heart of what we love to do.
