Located in a bustling neighborhood in Hudson, New York, Diamond Street is a compact yet bold residential project that we designed as a rethinking of the classic townhouse typology. Our approach focuses on modern proportions, efficient spatial planning, and a crisp, contemporary exterior that responds to its urban context.
We balanced density and privacy through a clean vertical layout that maximizes a tight city lot. Large windows and strategically placed skylights bring natural light deep into all levels, creating a sense of openness within a narrow footprint. The interior layout is intuitive and flexible, supporting the rhythms of modern living in a walkable downtown environment.
The façade uses contrasting materials and strong geometric lines to make a clear architectural statement while still feeling grounded in its neighborhood setting. Inside, the finishes are clean, warm, and understated, allowing function, flow, and comfort to lead the experience.
With Diamond Street, our goal was to elevate small-footprint living through thoughtful, precise design. It reflects our belief that well-considered architecture can bring light, space, and clarity to urban living—without compromise.
